ZYN Rewards Explained: Points per Code, Limits, Expiration and Tips
ZYN Rewards is ZYN’s US loyalty program, and one of the most searched pouch topics online. You collect points from the codes on ZYN cans and redeem them for rewards. Here’s how it works.
Program details can change. ZYN updated its terms in April 2026. Always check the current ZYN Rewards terms before relying on any points. Figures below reflect the terms as published and widely reported in 2026.
Who can join?
ZYN Rewards is open to legal residents of the 50 US states and the District of Columbia who are 21 or older.
How you earn points
- 15 points per can code. Each ZYN can has a code you enter in your ZYN account.
- Monthly limit: up to 60 codes per month.
How points expire: the 60-day rule
This is the rule that catches people out. Under ZYN’s terms, if you don’t enter a new code for 60 days, the points left in your account can be forfeited. ZYN says it will email you before that happens.
Only entering a new code resets the 60-day clock. Logging in, updating your profile, browsing the catalog or redeeming a reward doesn’t.
What you can redeem
ZYN Rewards has a rotating catalog of merchandise, e-gift cards, experiences and donation options. Popular items can sell out, and the catalog changes often.
ZYN Rewards vs VELO Rewards
| ZYN Rewards | VELO Rewards | |
|---|---|---|
| Points per code | 15 | 125 |
| Monthly code limit | 60 | 30 |
| Inactivity expiry | 60 days (only a new code resets it) | 180 days (earning or redeeming resets it) |
| Eligibility | US + DC, 21+ | US + DC, 21+ |
Point numbers aren’t directly comparable, because each program prices rewards differently. See how VELO Rewards works.
Tips
- Enter codes promptly so your account doesn’t hit the 60-day limit.
- Plan around breaks. If you’re cutting down, switching brands, or travelling, redeem before you stop entering codes.
- Watch the catalog. Popular items can go out of stock.
- Don’t let points drive your use. Buying more to reach a reward means more nicotine. If you’re trying to use less, see how many pouches is too many.

Bottom line
ZYN Rewards gives 15 points per can code, up to 60 codes a month, for US residents 21 and older. The key catch is expiry: if you go 60 days without entering a new code, your points can be forfeited, and only a new code resets the clock. The catalog rotates, so redeem when you see something you want, and check ZYN’s current terms, since the program can change.
