VELO Rewards Explained: How Points Work, Limits and Expiration
VELO Rewards is the loyalty program for VELO nicotine pouches in the US. You collect points from the codes inside VELO cans and redeem them for rewards. Here’s how it works, based on VELO’s official terms.
Program rules can change at any time. VELO’s terms say it may change, cancel or suspend the program without prior notice, so check the current terms before you rely on any points.
Who can join?
According to VELO’s terms, the program is open to residents of the 50 US states and the District of Columbia (not US territories) who certify that they are tobacco or nicotine consumers aged 21 or older.
How you earn points
- 125 points per VELO can code. Each can has a code under the label that you scan or type into your account.
- Limit: 30 codes per person per month from VELO products, regardless of when you bought them.
- VELO also offers other ways to earn points, such as activities in your account. Details vary.
How points expire
VELO’s terms state that all points expire after 180 days of inactivity. Inactivity means not adding codes, earning points or redeeming rewards for 180 days. Just logging in doesn’t count.
What you can redeem
Points can be redeemed for whatever rewards are available in your account at the time, typically including third-party gift cards. Redeemed points aren’t refundable. VELO doesn’t publish point prices publicly, so you need to log in to see the catalog.
VELO Rewards vs ZYN Rewards
| VELO Rewards | ZYN Rewards | |
|---|---|---|
| Points per can code | 125 | 15 (per ZYN’s terms as reported) |
| Monthly code limit | 30 | 60 (as reported) |
| Inactivity expiry | 180 days (earning or redeeming resets it) | 60 days (entering a code resets it, as reported) |
| Age | 21+ | 21+ |
Points values aren’t directly comparable, since each program prices its rewards differently. See our ZYN Rewards guide for details.
Tips
- Enter codes as you go, rather than saving them up, so your account stays active.
- Keep the 180-day window in mind if you switch brands or cut down.
- Don’t buy more to chase points. A loyalty program shouldn’t change how much nicotine you use. If you’re cutting down, see how many pouches is too many.

Bottom line
VELO Rewards gives 125 points for each VELO can code, up to 30 codes a month, for US residents 21 and older. Points expire after 180 days without earning or redeeming, and logging in alone doesn’t count. Rewards typically include gift cards, and VELO can change the program at any time.
